I dreamt.

Part I - Beautiful Night

I was home and it was nighttime. I looked outside my front window and saw the most beautiful night sky. The mountains in the distance were covered by a fresh dusting of snow. The sky was a deep purple near the horizon and progressively turned to blue-black. I could see Saturn and its moons with many bright stars surrounding it. The blood moon was quickly rising over the horizon. I pulled out my phone to take pictures. I was amazed by how clear and detailed my pictures were. I felt weird for peeking out my curtains and taking pictures but the view was worth it.

Part II - Dumb Ballerina

I was in a school for ballerinas but I knew absolutely nothing. There were a few other girls in the class, all of them were advanced ballerinas. I was partnered up with one girl and we were supposed to imitate a certain pose where we had one leg in the air over each other and the toes on our other leg were touching (see cover image). I saw the other groups doing the pose with ease. I was embarrassed, I told my partner that I can’t even balance on my toes. My partner said that it’ll be fine. We’ll just do a simpler move.

She started talking about some book that I’ve never heard of. I was called ‘Nirhaeria’ or something like that. I told her that it was interesting and that I would read up on it. In my head, I was thinking that I don’t have time to read that book, I want to watch television and play video games. I told myself that I should read it because connecting with other people is more important than video games and media.

Part III - Work Browser

I was at work and they were doing a random web browser check. My boss and the IT administrator came to my desk and looked through my browser history. They found my dream journal and read through it. They also found some weird cartoon space alien porn site. It looked like something out of Rick and Morty. I told them the porn site was not me, that was someone else. They fired me for misuse of company property.

I awoke.
